LOVE

The greatest is love Ephesians 2:8
The tree has a stem, branches, and leaves. But without the root, it cannot grow. My life without love would be like a tree without a root, it will bear no fruit and it won't grow. If we have no love as our foundation we bear no fruit and our spiritual growth doesn't last.
Love comes from Jesus Christ. He is the source of Love and our Saviour. He has demonstrated His Love by dying on the cross. He is Love and His greatest commandment is to love Him with our whole heart and soul and mind. And to love our neighbor as ourselves.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart with all your soul and with all your mind Mathew 23:37, Luke 10:27, Mark 12:30.

Have you discovered that God loves you with everything that He is? It's why he made you.
We are to love others in the overflow of God's very own love. Jesus Himself gave us the commandment 'Love one another as I have loved you'. If we received God's love and love Him in return, then it is only a matter of time before we will begin loving people more deeply. We can love even fellow believers who mistreated us because God loves them just as He loves us(John 15:9). The Lord wants us to enter into how He feels about others because He knows that will change the way we see people and how we respond to them. Also, we are to love ourselves in Christ and not despise our appearance, gifts or ministry assignment. The Lord loves us with all His heart and wants us to respond to Him with all our love. He is worthy of all our wholehearted love. The many facets of God's beauty are summed up in one reality - wholehearted love.

Love is the identity of you and me as Love is Jesus Christ.
